Handicap Race 4 15th February 2026
Fifteen sailors took on the rain and cold weather this morning. Although the predicted weather bomb didn’t eventuate, we shivered in a steady drizzle and a temperature that barely touched 21°C. On the positive side, everybody found a parking spot, it was high tide and we had a good Southerly breeze.
The racing was very close with the windward mark the governing who got around unscathed and who didn’t. In the DF65 fleet only one point separated the first four places, requiring John to work has mathematical magic to countback the results.
The IOM fleet was equally matched with single digits between boats in the mid-fleet.
Although dripping wet, everyone had a great time.
