Summer Scratch Race 2 7th December 2025
It was another hot sunny day in Manly pushing towards 30° C, the 12 km/hr North Eastly wind allowed the course to set along the esplanade.
Today’s king tide provided for easy launch and recovery of boats.
Andrew demonstrated the latest enhanced Buoybot RTK positioning system. Real-time kinematic positioning (RTK) technology is used extensively in surveying. The system incorporates a new base station which along with GPS satellites gives the Buoybots centimetre accuracy, The trial went very well and the Buoybots maintained their positions.
