Handicap Race 6 - 19th October 2025

A pleasant easterly breeze set the scene for Race 6, offering perfect sailing conditions and a welcome break from the unusually warm weather.

The day saw Wombat, Peter’s brand-new boat number 90, take to the water for her maiden sea trials. While Peter’s handicap kept him out of the top spots, he still enjoyed a fantastic and successful outing on the water.

The Club’s new start box made its debut, and what a difference it made! Gone are the days of needing a degree in rocket science just to get races underway. With a simple push-to-start and push-to-stop button, the countdowns ran smoothly, and the starts were kept well organised all day long.

As always, everyone had a top-notch day out. A big thank you to the race officers for their tireless work to ensure another fun and memorable day at the Marina.
