B2W Sovereign Challenge 23rd June 2026

The Sovereign Challenge brought the 17th edition of Beginners to Winners to a close, with eighteen DF65s contesting the annual handicap (practice) regatta for the Crown Trophy.

Light westerly winds made conditions challenging, but we still completed a full series of races. Several finishes were exceptionally close, though David Stoner ultimately dominated the event and claimed the winner’s trophy.

The regatta concluded with an excellent lunch and trophy presentation at the Manly Harbour Boat Club.

The next B2W edition starts on 14th July at Sovereign Lake.
