Winter Handicap Series R6 - 15th Oct 2023

Great day on the harbour last Sunday. Blue, sunny skies and light north easterly winds. Kampie set courses for both fleets using the same starting line. Df65 used a windward/return course and the IOM's sailed a triangular course.

Noel raced his newly acquired IOM for the first time. He sailed very well and won on the day. Slab was very consistent and fought off a late charge from Russell for the Df65 honours. Kampie had problems with his new boat and was an early retirement. Well done to the handicapper and scorer (John McLachlan) for a very close/even result.

We were again all winners on the day.
