About the Wynnum Manly Yacht Club
Our Club was established in 1995.
We cater for all levels of sailing from beginners to social sailing, and to club competitions. Many of our members compete at state and national championships and our top sailors are some of the best in Australia.
You may never have sailed and would like to learn - we can teach you the fundamentals.
You may know how to sail and would like to sail socially. We sail socially at 2 venues
You may have sailed competively and would like to pit your knowledge and skills against the best.
Our members are spread across an age bracket between 40-90 years
Many are retirees who enjoy the social interaction in beautifull surroundings. Some are hard working competitive souls who like the strong competition that we offer.
We all have a common love of sailing and all the associated banter.
Some of our members get great satisfaction from building boats and making sails.
